This is the second year of our International Shows, moving on to Woodredon Equestrian Centre, below you can find all the relevant information, schedule, costs, accommodation etc.

Classification, all riders must be classified to ride at our show, an RDA classification or International IPC classification is required. If you are not classified don't worry we will be having  International classifiers on site. This will take place on Thursday 14th & Friday 15th August the cost is £35 this will be a International IPC classification and will enable you to ride abroad if chosen for Jumping or dressage.

Classification (Important)

Classification will take place on August 14th/15th & 16th at The Showground. Cost £35 Please book in advance to ensure grading! All riders that have not been classified before must bring a letter from their doctor stating what their disability is.

Time Table:  Thursday PM riders without any classification to be Classified Nationally by Lynn Lawford (This allows riders to ride in the UK only) if riders would like to be classified to ride Internationally then they must also be classified on Friday or Saturday. Classification will be undertaken by Bettina from Ireland throughout each day Friday and Saturday.

The Show

No Camping on site you can use a horse box to put a tent in and Kevin has offered a porta cabin to kip in (shared) for free, toilets and a shower are on site. A Food van will be available during the day

The Entry fee is £110 and includes entries for the three days of The BPSJA Para Show Jumping Mini Tour 2008 as per schedule above and includes stabling for your horse for the entire show. Extra stable £50

The Schedule

Day 1 Thursday 14th

Riders & Horses arrive and stabled for the night, riders must have declared the height they are jumping

      7pm Cocktails/barbeque £5 per person Tack Sale/Swop shop in Marquee while Barbie takes place.

      If you don't want a barbie then 400 yards up the road is a themed restaurant

      or use the afternoon and evening to go into London Tube station only a few minutes away.

       7:30 for 8pm  Evening sit down meal (Buffet) and drinks.  Consist of nibbles to start, Cold
       buffet and sweets including drinks.
       
       During the Evening Meal Andy Lawes will give a brief chat on BPSJA and its aims our guest speaker will be
       Jonquil Solt OBE Chairperson of International Paralympic Committee.

       After the meal it's time to let your hair down and party the night away, with music till late.

Woodredon also have unaffiliated show Jumping on this Sunday please ask for details on arrival.

Hire of Horses

Hire of horses are strictly on a first come first serve basis, those people who wish to hire a horse will need to send a £50 deposit to secure, the cost will be approximately £225. Woodredon EC has a large selection of Show Jumping horses available and will be assessing riders for horses on Thursday PM. You will be able to practice on your horse Thursday as well.

Entertainment

Food & Drink is available at the Showground throughout the day

BPSJA Meal Saturday 16th August everyone can attend

A three course Buffet is arranged for all riders/grooms/helpers at the Show Ground on Saturday 16th August 7:30 pm for 8 pm start. The cost is £25 per person, £12 for children 12 or under,  vegetarian choice available please indicate on the Entry form how many places you would like and if any are vegetarian.

Directions

M25 come off at junction 26, look for sign posts marked Loughton (A121), Follow road for approx one mile, turn left into Woodredon Farm Lane and you have arrived. Markers will be placed from the roundabout J26 with BPSJA on a blue background and arrowed in the direction you need to go.
