Arena UK Show a cracking success

BPSJA to Exhibit at enABLE 08 – The UK’s Only Consumer Disability Show @ Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 28-29 November.

 

Next BPSJA show to be held at Arena UK, classes to be announced within the next few weeks.

 

Great results from Chevillon France, all five riders placed over the three days.

 

Team  announced for Chevillon,  five riders taking part this year.

UK's International to be held at Woodredon EC, Waltham Abbey. Entries are already coming in for what is going to be the best ever Para Show jumping Event of 2008. Held over three days 15th -17th August.

Brits do exceptionally well at Bordeaux 2008. Emily Lawes 2nd, Louise Hacker 3rd, Alison Betterley 5th

BPSJA announces two British riders chosen to represent GBR in Tremblay en France at the beginning of May. They are Ben Carr, and Justine Bowers, this is the first time they will have ridden for GBR as individuals, both will be riding hired horses. Good luck to you all.

British Para Show Jumping Association a newly formed organization for 2008

Mission Statement

  • To promote the skill of Show Jumping for physically disabled  and Visually Impaired riders.

  • To provide a means of distributing information to all participants

  • To help with the provision of appropriate training for those with disabilities.

  • To give show jumpers with disabilities the opportunity to reach their potential.

  • To be a united voice for show jumpers with disabilities.

  • To enlist the help of other bodies involved in show jumping to accept, encourage and make provision for show jumpers with disabilities.

  • To provide a structure for the selection and training of members wishing to compete as individuals or teams both Nationally and Internationally.

  • To raise the funding necessary to achieve the aforementioned objectives.

  • To seek qualifications to the highest level in all that they do

  • But most importantly for every one to have fun and enjoy their sport safely.
